Emerald Isle Recycle do not provide recycling services to the medical sector at present, as any recycling scheme implemented within the healthcare sector will be required to comply with the Clinical Waste Regulations 1992. Any future recycling schemes run in conjunction with the healthcare sector, will be directly related to the waste packaging arising from the delivery of products to this sector.

Recycled Plastic Products
As the majority of waste removed from the medical sector is contained within clinical (yellow bags) and domestic waste (black bags) both of which can be manufactured from recycled PE film, this sector is an important market for Emerald Isle Recycle.
